Refund policy

HerbAsia – Refund & Cancellation Policy
At HerbAsia, we want you to love every purchase you make with us. This policy explains how we handle returns, refunds, and cancellations in compliance with RBI guidelines and industry best practices.

1. Returns
We accept returns only if the item received is damaged, defective, or incorrect. Returns for change of mind, dissatisfaction, or any other reason are not accepted.
To be eligible for a return:

  • A return request must be raised within 05 days of delivery.
  • The product must be unused, in the same condition as received, and in its original packaging with proof of purchase.
    To start a return, please email us at herbasiaasia@gmail.com. If your request is approved, you’ll receive a return shipping label and detailed instructions. Items sent back without prior approval will not be accepted.

2. Damaged or Incorrect Items
If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, please report it to us within 24 hours of delivery.
For approved cases, the resolution will be provided in the following order of priority:

  1. Free reshipment of the correct item at no extra cost.

  2. Store credit of equal value if reshipment is not possible.

  3. Refund (to the original payment method) if neither reshipment nor store credits are suitable. Refunds will be issued after deducting applicable shipping charges (forward and reverse shipping).
    Important: To process refunds for damaged or incorrect items, customers must provide an unedited unboxing video clearly showing:
  • The parcel being opened from a sealed condition
  • The visible shipping label
  • The product and its defect/damage
    This helps us verify claims and prevent fraudulent requests. Requests without valid unboxing video proof may not be eligible for a refund.

3. Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned:

  • Used or opened products
  • Personalized or custom-made items
  • Clearance or sale items
  • Gift cards

4. Order Cancellations

  • Prepaid orders can be cancelled before shipping for a full refund.
  • No cancellation fees apply before dispatch.
  • Once an order is shipped, cancellations and refunds are not possible.

5. Refunds
Refunds apply only to:

  • Approved prepaid order cancellations (before shipping)
  • Approved returns under the Damaged or Incorrect Items section
  • Duplicate or failed transactions
    Refunds will be processed to the original payment method (card, UPI, wallet, etc.) or issued as store credits, where applicable.
    Please allow 7–10 business days after approval for the refund to be processed. Additional time may be required by your bank or payment provider for the amount to reflect.

6. Refunds for COD (Cash on Delivery) Orders
Refunds for COD orders are available only if the product received is damaged or defective. In such cases, customers must provide their bank account details for refund processing.

7. Failed or Duplicate Transactions
In case of duplicate payments or failed transactions, the excess amount will be automatically refunded to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.
